UGA AALAS login portal provides an easy way to login to the AALAS Learning Library (ALL) website using your UGA MyID and Password without needing to maintain (and remember) a separate login and password. Furthermore, using the AALAS Login Portal links all of your ALL training records to you and UGA.  This allows your ALL training records to be used by OVPR’s compliance management applications, such as Artemis.
The Office of Research Information Systems supports the UGA CITI Login portal. If you have any questions or issues, please submit a request to the OVPR help desk.
When should I use the UGA AALAS Login Portal?
For people requiring their AALAS Learning Library training records to be affiliated with UGA, the UGA AALAS Login Portal is the only way to access the AALAS Learning Library. UGA faculty/staff/students should use the portal whenever they wish to access CITI’s website, including:

  • Creating a new ALL account by a new user
  • Affiliating an existing ALL account with the University of Georgia
  • Accessing ALL training services
  • Examining ALL training records
Must I use the UGA AALAS Portal?
You MUST use the UGA AALAS Login Portal any time you wish to take an AALAS Learning Library (ALL) course. Access directly from the ALL website is no longer allowed by the AALAS Learning Library for UGA-sponsored accounts.

You MUST use the AALAS Login Portal to open a new ALL Account, simply to assure that your UGAID is associated with your ALL account and your ALL account is affiliated with UGA.

If you have used the ALL in the past as an affiliate to UGA, your login ID and password have been changed. Login to the UGA AALAS login portal using your UGA MyID and password.

If you are a UGA/OVPR Affiliate, use the login ID and password assigned to you in that process.

Who can use the UGA AALAS Login portal?
Anyone with a valid UGA MyID and password or with a valid UGA/OVPR affiliate login name and password may use the UGA AALAS Login Portal.
I have been using the AALAS Learning Library to take my UGA animal training. Must I use the UGA AALAS Login Portal?
Yes. See the first FAQ for more information.
What happens when I use the UGA AALAS Login Portal?
When you login to the UGA AALAS login portal, it will authenticate your UGA login credentials and send metadata about you to the AALAS Learning Library site, including your UGAID, your ALL username and password and your organization, department and email address.

If you have not provided ALL with other data in your profile (salutation, suffixes, etc.) ALL will require you to provide this information before sending you to the course catalog and training records web page.

Am I able to register at AALAS Learning Library as a UGA affiliate without using the UGA AALAS Portal?
No. The only way to identify yourself as an affiliate of UGA on the AALAS training website is by using the UGA AALAS portal. If you are a UGA faculty, staff or student, you may use the portal without further preparation.

If you are not a UGA faculty, staff or student and have not created a UGA/OVPR affiliate user name, you must request a UGA/OVPR affiliate username and password, then access the AALAS Learning Library training site using the UGA AALAS Portal in order to establish yourself as a UGA affiliate on the CITI training site.

To request an UGA/OVPR affiliate user name, contact Lisa Kelly.

If you have previously used the AALAS training website as a UGA affiliate without using the AALAS Learning Library, you must request a UGA/OVPR affiliate username and password, then use the UGA AALAS Portal for your next login to AALAS Learning Library. You will be authenticated as a UGA person (faculty, staff, student, UGA/OVPR affiliate), and your AALAS Learning Library account will then be updated with your UGAID and other credentials, and all will be in order.

If I change my “login information” (username, password) in AALAS, will my training records still be available to UGA’s compliance systems?
AALAS Learning Library’s web site will NOT allow you to change your username and password.
